We at DomusAway are really glad to have you as our guest. We have put together this guest guide to help you make the most of your holiday with us. 

It contains information about the house you are renting with us including a guide on how to find the house, how to get access to the keys and enter the house.

It also includes information about the services in the area including emergency contacts and ideas on how to get the most out of your time while visiting the island.

We want to make your arrival experience as easy as possible.

We assume you have already used our guest portal to self check-in. This is very important as we are required by law to submit the identification document of every guest that stays with us.

Standard check out time is 10:00am.

We HIGHLY recommended renting a car while in Sardinia as the public transportation is unreliable.

The Property

The Property

The property is located inside the exclusive residence of Cala Ginepro in the Monte Petrosu district which is a very quiet and calm village.

The residence has video surveillance at its entrance to ensure security and privacy of its residents. To the east of the village, you’ll discover the private beach of Cala Ginepro (which includes a jetty to dock boats) with breath-taking views of the islands of Tavolara and Molara.

Rules

House Rules

  1. Please park in the Designated Parking area.
  2. All guests staying at the property must be registered with DomusAway as required by Italian law.
  3. No pets unless agreed up front for an additional fee.
  4. No Smoking inside the house. Please use the ashtrays provided for all cigarette butts.
  5. No parties or events in the house. We are located in a residential area. Please respect the neighbours and keep all noise to a minimum between the house of 11:00pm and 8:00am.
  6. We highly suggest not eating and drinking in the bedrooms and using the dining areas instead.
  7. Please clean the BBQs after use.
  8. Do not throw solid waste inside the sink to avoid clogging.
  9. Please do not dispose of personal hygiene items such as tampons or sanitary pads in the toilet bowl as this may clog the toilets and is harmful to the Sardinian waste water management systems. 
  10. Please dispose of the garbage in the bins provided and use the garbage collection schedule to ensure proper collection of garbage.
  11. Make sure to turn off the external and internal lights, air conditioner, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door. 
  12. Do not use multiple electric devices together (e.g. Washing machine, toaster, oven and AC) as the circuit breaker may trip.
  13. Report any damage and/or breakage in a reasonable timely manner. Any damage exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by the guest and will be reported to the booking OTA. 
  14. Please wash dishes, empty the fridge and throw out the garbage before checkout.
  15. Please return any furniture you may have moved during your stay back to its original position before check out.

San Teodoro is among them. Enchanting beaches and cliffs, protected marine Park of Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo, lagoons of great natural interest with flamingoes, hills and mountains cut by canyons and stream, there is lots to discover.

Here are a few things we think that will help make your check out process smooth. 

  1. Check out is at 10 am as the cleaners will be arriving at 10:30 to clean and prepare the house for the next guests. We are happy to hold your luggage for you at the DomusAway office for the day.
  2. Please wash dishes, empty the fridge and throw out the garbage before checkout.
  3. Please return any furniture you may have moved during your stay back to its original position before check out.
  4. Make sure to turn off the external and internal lights, air conditioner, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.
